One of the nice things about buying a 24′ white box truck is that it really gives you a blank slate to use to market your business.  But what happens when white isn’t in the approved color scheme for vehicles? You call Optimum Signs and get one of our designers to work up a design that takes advantage of this 24′ mobile billboard. Larger corporations tend to have some pretty tight standards when it comes to marketing and designing a wrap for a box truck would be no exception.  We started with the standard list of approved colors and layouts.  With this vehicle we started with white. Check out this custom LED, double sided monument sign for Staff Electric in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin.  And it all started with a blank brick wall and the desire to use the wall for their new sign.  That’s where Optimum Signs came in. When our friends at Staff Electric contacted us we weren’t certain what they wanted. They asked us to meet them at the vacant building on Silver Spring Drive.  When we got there, our contacts were standing around the half wall that faces Silver Spring Drive.  That’s when we figured that this wall would play a big role in what they were looking to do.  They wanted to use the wall in any design we came up with.  Ok.  And they wanted it big.  As large as Menomonee Falls would allow the sign to be.  Got it.  And they wanted it to light up and be very visible from either direction on Silver Spring.  Yup.  So what do we have to work with? When we first started talking to Per Mar Security, they were still in West Allis and they were looking for a lobby sign.  That was almost two years ago.  Nothing came of the lobby sign because the company shortly thereafter began talks to purchase one of their competitors.  The talks took some time, but in the end, they purchased the company complete with their offices and fleet of service vehicles.  The company came back to us with an urgent need. When we start working with a new company, we tend to ask a lot of questions.  You would be surprised at what new business owners don’t know about their companies marketing.  In this case, Layout Landscaping knew what they wanted and what they didn’t want.  It made it that much easier for us to design something that accomplished exactly what they wanted.
